what a long, strange trip it's been...
my career got started in new york city where i spent the first half of my professional life dedicated to publishing. magazines were my life and for 10 years i bounced between designing editorial pages and designing magazine promotions.
my background in magazine promotions was the perfect segue into retail marketing and when my work started getting noticed by large retail companies, another phase in my career began along with an eventual move back west—from condé nast, hearst, the new york times to the children's place, victoria's secret, and gap in san francisco.
of course, living in silicon valley it was kind of inevitable that i land in tech, hence, my latest career move... my life these days: ux and ui (and motorcycling when i can), though i haven't at all lost touch with my traditional design background :)
